Description

The Aras Innovator connector for AutoCAD provides a simple interface allowing drawings to be managed by a robust PLM system. The focus at Prodeos was to “Keep it simple”. Simple commands like Open, Lock, Save and Unlock allow you to quickly come up to speed. Our toolbar includes icons and text for functions file information and status display. Our connector technology has the flexibility to be leveraged by Aras Innovator as your implementation evolves. The flexibility also allows easy integration in to custom or vertical applications built on Aras Innovator. Installation is simple, powerful, just run the install application and you’ll be up and running in no time with your AutoCAD data fully managed by Aras Innovator.

Main Features

• Blocks in the active drawing can be imported into a library so they can be shared as standards across your company
• Drawings can be imported directly into the Aras Innovator PLM software
• The Aras Innovator vault can be browsed or searched to find any drawing that has read access rights
• Displays drawing status: green – managed by Aras Innovator, red – not managed.
• Toolbar operation and commands are completely documented in a clearly illustrated help file.
• The Aras Innovator connection settings can be managed allowing access to multiple instances, and to allow selection of visualization and export parameters
• Drawing status is displayed directly in the toolbar, no extra windows to open!
• Data is managed using simple commands: Open, Lock, Save, Unlock
• Browse the Aras Vault to see status of the Block drawings. Insert them directly into the active drawing
• Blocks can be validated using a standard release workflow which improves quality
